WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Our hands and feet are "mini maps" or microcosms that correspond with different areas of the body. By applying pressure to specific points or 'reflexes' on these areas, it can encourage holistic healing to the corresponding area of the body and can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing.
Regular treatments ensure a balanced mind, body and spirit enabling you to lead a full life, to the maximum of your capabilities.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A REFLEXOLOGY SESSION?
In your initial treatment, our reflexology therapist Cathy will ask you about your general diet, stress levels and sleep as well as a few questions about your medical history, to check for any contradictions to your treatment.
The treatment itself lasts for 40-50 minutes, beginning with breathing and relaxation exercises before working on the reflexes of both feet to re-balance the body.
Often clients will feel tired and relaxed after their treatment or sometimes energised depending on their sate of health and mind.
