PSYCHIC PARTIES
Ray of Ginger Hair and Beauty Salon are delighted to be hosting psychic parties on the 2nd Saturday of every month, with the next available date on Saturday 11th May, 2024, from 6pm - 8.30pm.
These are exclusive and limited events where each person receives 2 readings; 1 group & 1 private.Offering ginger tea on arrival along with some ginger snacks.
These events will be beautiful, warm, supportive and aiming to help you learn insights into your past, present and even future.

WORKSHOP: CONNECT WITH A SPIRIT GUIDE
We are excited to announce on the 21st April 2pm to 4pm we are holding a popular workshop, after a maternity break by Jade – Connect with a Spirit Guide.
This is an in-person wellness workshop focused on learning about spirit guides and how to communicate with them. It’s also a taster session for those interested in going on to participate in the Spirit Guide course ‘Opening up your Channel to Divine Guidance.’
This is an opportunity to connect with one of your own spirit guides or helpers (there is a difference) during a guided hypnotherapy journey. Jade will present the opportunity for you to ask a question and receive a quantum healing.​
During the session each person will receive:
· A personalised mini healing* and /or
· A personalised written message from your guides to keep.

OUR TOP TIPS FOR CARING FOR COLOURED HAIR BETWEEN HAIR SALON VISITS
Keeping coloured hair looking tip-top in between salon appointments can be hard work and lead to frustration but we are here to bring you our top expert advice to ensure it remains as vibrant and cared for as possible.
1. Washing your hair too often fades coloured hair. So, how often should you wash coloured hair? We recommend washing no more than two to three times a week to help preserve your shade and natural oils.
2. Don’t skip out on conditioner
Keep your strands nourished by using a conditioner every wash following your shampoo. The vivid MUK colour is the perfect match for our colour lock shampoo. This creamy, colour preserving shampoo and conditioner helps to maintain your shade and prevent dye from fading.
3. Turn down the heat
Hot water doesn’t only dry out your skin; it decreases the vibrancy of your hair colour too. Hot water opens up your hair cuticles, releasing your precious colour.
Our top tip? Rinse MUKÂ shampoo and conditioner out with room-temperature water to help provide long-lasting hair colour. And, if you can bear it, give your hair a quick blast of cold water at the end to help seal the cuticle.
4. Limit the hot tools
Hot tools can actually speed up the process of colour fading from your hair. That’s why we recommend limiting your use of heated styling tools, especially in the first few weeks after getting your hair done. If you’re going to use hot tools, try turning the temperature down to prevent the heat pulling the colour from your hair. And when you do bring the heat, be sure to use protection. MUK Thermal Protector recommended.
